Butterflies

Fly buttery fly.
So I can use this new found key.
Where there is only light.
Light shining from and for me.
Create room to grow branches enchanted.
With flowers and their lovely perfume.
Sweet, for rest love and breeding.
Where caterpillars will be sleeping.

Shooting Stars

On a hot August summer night.
Not an airplane or satellite in sight.
Time is the only thing that flies.
While watching shooting beams of light.

Silence

In the silence I would like to gaze.
The world asleep in a thick eerie haze.
No one to see.
Street lights shining only for me.
Leading me to an empty space of mind.
To discover there it is what I want to find.

Understanding

Observing with a clear mind.
Emotionless witnessing.
Is like a place not many visited before you.
Steady, dodging collective pain.
Seeing through humanity.
The humbleness you fall into.
Never to be climbed out of.
Doomed to human kindness.
Compassionate and understanding.
The light in darkness occupied by few.

Time

Stars hide on gloomy nights.
Clouds equal time.
Through the hours.
Shining lights.

Light in the Night

Tonight will be the night.
That I might see.
What I have learned since being in light.
For a moment my hands covers my eyes.
Comforting the upcoming night.
Before I see.
That tonight,
I am the light.
